Daniel Gillblad will help bridge the gap between AI application and research
AI Sweden’s mission is to accelerate the use of AI for the benefit of our society, our competitiveness and for everyone living in Sweden. Bridging the gap between research and application of AI is an important step to achieve this mission.
Daniel Gillblad will now also take up the role as Director of Chalmers AI Research Center (CHAIR).
As one of the largest self-financed AI research initiatives, CHAIR’s closest partners are also partners to AI Sweden. Consequently, there is evident potential for valuable synergies.
- I am very happy to contribute to tying the Swedish AI ecosystem closer together and aligning efforts to create the maximum value for Sweden as a country. AI Sweden’s role in accelerating the use of AI is key for putting research results into practice, says Daniel Gillblad.
Daniel remains as Co-Director for AI Sweden and starts his role as Director of CHAIR on October 1st.
