Sahlgrenska Science Park

Get an introduction to the cross-functional project Svenskt Medicinskt Språkdatalabb.

A prerequisite for making medical data and language models accessible and user friendly for research and training is relevant to machine learning for medical language processing in Swedish. This was the starting point for the cross-functional project Svenskt Medicinskt Språkdatalab (Swedish Medical Language Data Lab). The project set out to develop models, and to build a foundation for how to utilise these data for improved decision making and patient-centred healthcare.

After one year, we’ve now reached the point where our trained AI models can be safely deployed on patient data. During this seminar, we will share valuable learnings and conceptual cases from the journey so far and explore the future possibilities when the project is concluded.

Join in and listen to AI experts from Peltarion and RISE as well as the hard-working visionaries in Region Halland and Region Västra Götaland on how NLP can revolutionise Swedish healthcare and how to embark on such a journey.

When: 8 June 9.00-11.30

Speakers: Anders Arpteg, Peltarion; Olof Mogren, RISE; Markus Lingman, Region Halland; Magnus Kjellberg, Västra Götalandsregionen

This is the first webinar in a series of 3.

A link will be sent out a few days in advance.
