AI Sweden is the Swedish national center for applied artificial intelligence.

Our mission is to accelerate the use of AI for the benefit of our society, our competitiveness, and for everyone living in Sweden. We are broadly funded and not for profit, and we collaborate with speed and boldness in everything we do with our over 170 partners from the private and public sectors as well as academia.

AI Sweden strengthens Canadian ties during high-level business visit

AI Sweden participated in Business Sweden’s High-Level Business Delegation to Canada, held in connection with the State Visit by H.M. King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia. "The fact that AI, alongside defense and electrification, is a central pillar of a delegation visit at this level clearly shows that AI has moved from the server room to the boardroom and onto the international stage," says Martin Svensson, Managing Director at AI Sweden.

AI Sweden honored for leadership – Named "Societal Actor of the Year"

Martin Svensson, Managing Director of AI Sweden, has been awarded the "Societal Actor of the Year" (Årets Samhällsaktör) award in the Leadership category for his inclusive and visionary work in accelerating the use of artificial intelligence in Sweden. The award highlights the transformative work the center conducts to increase societal benefit and strengthen competitiveness.

"A Labor Market in Motion": The Labor Market AI Council presents its first joint status report on how AI is transforming the Swedish labor market

The Labor Market AI Council is today publishing its first insights report—A Labor Market in Motion—which provides a comprehensive current status of how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the Swedish labor market. The report shows that the use of AI is already widely noticeable in service- and knowledge-intensive occupations, but the rate of adoption varies depending on organizational readiness and capabilities.
