Our policy work focuses particularly on two central shifts:

Strengthened AI sovereignty and strategic autonomy: Sweden must bolster the critical resources and capabilities required to use, develop, and scale AI in an era of rapid technological development and increased geopolitical uncertainty. This includes innovative capacity, a resilient AI stack, talent supply, accelerated decision-making, and strategic international alliances.

Accelerated adoption in priority sectors: Sweden must increase the pace of the practical application of AI in areas where the technology can provide significant societal benefits, strengthen competitiveness, and improve the ability to meet key challenges in healthcare, education, the labor market, and defense innovation.
