AI transformation support for SMEs

Background
Small and medium sized companies is a large and varied group that in many cases has not even started its journey of change towards a digital, data and AI-driven business. This project provides an opportunity to support the SMEs' transformation in an effective way by utilizing knowledge, tools and developed relationships and networks.
Goal
The goal is an initiated and strengthened transition to a sustainable and gender-equal, data- and AI driven business at 100 SMEs in Västra Götaland and Halland. It contributes directly to companies' business development through increased digital transformation directly linked to their operations and thereby strengthened competitiveness in regional, national and international markets. It also provides an opportunity for companies to become more innovative and broaden their market.
Offering
From late May, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can take part in a 6-8 week project that is free of charge. Participants may also be eligible for de minimis aid. The project includes informative talks to help SMEs understand key concepts, an AI Maturity assessment to chart a strategic path forward, and an ideation workshop to identify practical use cases with tangible business benefits.

Facts
The project is led by AI Sweden in cooperation with Skövde Science Park, Innovatum Science Park, IUC Sjuhärad, HighFive Halland and Lindholmen Science Park.
The project is financed by the European Regional Development Fund, Västra Götalandsregionen and Region Halland.
