Truth or dare aims to encourage decision makers to invest in AI

Wednesday, July 2, 2025

AI Sweden launches Truth or Dare: a card game about AI for bold leaders. With revealing questions and bold dares, the card game aims to encourage honest answers and help equip leaders for the rapid development of AI.
– Bold leadership is a key factor for successfully implementing AI in an organization, says Conny Svensson at AI Sweden.

The card game, available in both physical and digital editions, highlights that success with AI lies not only in the technology but, to a large extent, in brave decisions. AI Sweden's ambition is for the game to make it easier for leaders and their organizations to act and invest in order to maximize the benefits of AI.

Conny Svensson

This is a game everyone is familiar with, but this time we're using it as a tool for national development. Our hope is that this slightly unexpected approach will make more decision-makers realize that AI is a leadership issue. We are convinced that bold leadership is a key factor for successfully implementing AI in an organization.

He continues:

– People often talk about courageous leadership, but it can sometimes be difficult to understand what that actually means. With this game, we also show the way forward by highlighting the concrete actions and decisions that you as a leader need to address to succeed with the implementation of AI, says Conny Svensson.

A mini AI maturity assessment for your organization

AI Sweden's "Truth or Dare" consists of 51 cards with questions and challenges across eleven central categories that are crucial for a successful AI implementation in an organization. The categories are taken from the AI House framework and include, for example, data, technology, culture, use cases, and expertise. The "truths" are based on a selection of questions that AI Sweden uses to assess organizations' AI maturity. Some cards include a QR code with a link to additional resources for those who want to delve deeper into a topic.

– Our standard AI maturity assessment is a comprehensive process designed to help organizations evaluate their current AI capabilities, identify gaps and areas for improvement, and develop a roadmap. With this game, you get a condensed version. It's an excellent way to start reflecting on these questions and gain a clearer understanding of the conditions required to succeed with AI, says Conny Svensson.
