This initiative is a collaboration between five of the region's leading organizations: AI Sweden, AI Finland, Digital Dogme (Denmark), IKT (Norway), and Almannarómur (Iceland). For coordination, a secretariat will be located in Sweden to handle the center's work, and staff will be located in all participating countries. Formally launching in the fall of 2025, the center will serve as a cross-sectoral hub for governments, companies, and organizations to consolidate strategic leadership and expertise. The ambition is to include organizations from the Baltic countries as well.

The fact that the Nordic countries are coming together around one of the great opportunities of our time is a true sign of strength. With the support of the Nordic Council of Ministers and all participating ministers, we are laying the foundation to swiftly and effectively harness and develop this technology for the benefit of our nations.
