New partner program accelerates AI transformation

Wednesday, April 8, 2026

Accelerate your AI journey is a new transformation program for AI Sweden's partners. The goal is to create the conditions to move forward from the initial experimentation with AI.

"Through the program, the participating partner organizations will build the necessary capabilities to systematically create value using AI," says Rebecka Lönnroth, Head of AI Adoption Public Sector at AI Sweden.

Experimentation with AI is now widespread. The problem is that it often stops there. Many AI pilots never reach production, and the challenge is mostly about people, processes, and culture, not technology.

During the program, participants will develop skills and capabilities based on change management models, practical tools, and a concrete methodology for spreading knowledge and anchoring new working methods in their organization. They learn not only what AI can do, but how to lead the change required for it to become an everyday reality.

But she also points out that learning between organizations is not enough. For actual change to occur, several individuals within the same operation need to share a vision of the desired shift.

"Our experience shows that change is rarely driven successfully by individuals; instead, it requires multiple perspectives, a common direction, and an internal context to operate within. We therefore prefer that at least three people with complementary competencies from the same organization participate to truly achieve impact," Ebba Heselius continues.

The program is therefore aimed at people who work with AI transformation, such as change managers, business developers, digitalization strategists, or other roles with a responsibility to drive the organization's AI journey.
