More partners certified to measure AI maturity: “A powerful tool”

Tuesday, October 7, 2025

To help organizations move from ambition to concrete value, AI Sweden is now certifying more partners to conduct what are known as maturity assessments. Nexer is the latest company to join.

– The certification through AI Sweden is a seal of quality, says Tomas Frimmel, CRO at Nexer.

Creating value with AI requires more than just technology—it presupposes an organizational transformation and new ways of working. Many organizations have begun to apply AI in their operations, but implementation is marked by challenges related to value creation. A common reason is that many lack a clear picture of their own capabilities and where they should begin.

“A powerful tool”

To help organizations move from ambition to real value, companies use maturity assessments. The process helps companies evaluate their current AI capabilities, identify weaknesses, and develop a concrete roadmap to reach the next level.

Per Clingweld

Many have high ambitions but lack a clear picture of their own capabilities. The maturity assessment is a powerful tool that provides precisely that insight and a proposal for how to formulate a plan for the steps needed to evolve and create real value.

One of AI Sweden's many partners that have conducted a maturity assessment is Östgötatrafiken.

Therese Furhoff

We are at the beginning of our AI journey, and some of the questions in the assessment were therefore naturally difficult to take a stance on. One lesson learned is not to focus on the individual questions, which became clear in the follow-up workshop. The maturity assessment, together with the follow-up, both enhanced our competence in AI and gave us insights into what activities we need to undertake to continue our journey.

More partners certified

The demand for strategic AI consulting is increasing, and to meet this need, AI Sweden, with the help of Applied AI, is now certifying more partners to conduct maturity assessments. The latest company to receive the certification is Nexer.

Tomas Frimmel

To continue guiding organizations in their AI implementation and acceleration, it's crucial that we have the best tools. The certification through AI Sweden is a seal of quality. With the maturity assessment, we can help organizations quickly and effectively identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities, thereby accelerating their AI adoption in line with their strategy.
