The Corona pandemic that has hit us has created the biggest crisis in modern times. Most of the world has been affected and we must act now and use every conceivable force to help solve the crisis. To meet this huge challenge, Hack the Crisis Sweden, a digital hackathon, will be organized on April 3-6, 2020, with the aim of bringing all good forces together to contribute to beating this pandamic.

Will bring together all good forces

The goal is to in a very short time gather creative ideas and develop concepts helping us to tackle the Corona crisis and that can be implemented quickly in our society. Hack the Crisis will gather all parts of our society that wants to be a part of the solution; the public sector, private sector, academia, non-profit organizations and citizens are all welcome to contribute. The online hackathon will have three focus areas; to save lives, save communities and save businesses.

The movement started in Estonia and several countries around the world are following in their footsteps. The Swedish engagement in Hack the Crisis is an initiative from The Swedish Government organized by DIGG, Hack for Sweden and Openhack, together with a strong lineup of actors who are meeting up to support the initiative.
