Will bring together all good forces
The goal is to in a very short time gather creative ideas and develop concepts helping us to tackle the Corona crisis and that can be implemented quickly in our society. Hack the Crisis will gather all parts of our society that wants to be a part of the solution; the public sector, private sector, academia, non-profit organizations and citizens are all welcome to contribute. The online hackathon will have three focus areas; to save lives, save communities and save businesses.
The movement started in Estonia and several countries around the world are following in their footsteps. The Swedish engagement in Hack the Crisis is an initiative from The Swedish Government organized by DIGG, Hack for Sweden and Openhack, together with a strong lineup of actors who are meeting up to support the initiative.

“We have both expertise and resources that we can bring in to this. Our network includes people whith sharp competence and wide knowledge about artificial intelligence and how it can be applied during a social crisis. We also have our own resources in project management and we have experience of having arranged several hackathons that we hope can be of support in the arrangement.
We encourage all good innovative forces of society to mobilise and participate to meet the challenges for public health and the economy!
