Gunilla Nordlöf, Magnus Hedberg, Niklas Wahlberg, and Petter Bedoire were elected new AI Sweden's steering committee members during this summer's Partner Forum.
Gunilla Nordlöf
Director General, The Swedish eHealth Agency
"The use of artificial intelligence is crucial for Sweden. Experiences, from healthcare not the least, show that collaboration between both public and private actors is essential. AI Sweden plays a central role as a hub for collaboration, and I look forward to contributing through the steering committee."
Petter Bedoire
Chief Technology Officer, Saab
"The rapid development of AI in recent times has the potential to fundamentally change how we tackle society's challenges. The opportunities are enormous! However, there are also risks associated with an overly uncritical application of AI. AI Sweden has a crucial role in ensuring that we in Sweden fully harness the opportunities of AI while guaranteeing its responsible application in society."
Niklas Wahlberg
VP System Solutions and Partnerships, AB Volvo
"I'm looking forward to contributing to AI Sweden's important work for all engaged partners. AI development is happening here and now and moving at breakneck speed."
Magnus Hedberg
CEO, Akavia
"I'm delighted to participate in the steering committee's work. I hope to contribute by focusing on how the responsible use of AI can foster a job market that enables retraining and empowers individuals."
During the Partner Forum in June, it was also decided that Peder Blomgren will continue as the steering committee's chairperson for another year. The steering committee is responsible for, among other things, approving new partners and approving the strategic agenda and goals for AI Sweden.
AI Sweden's Partner Forum, where each partner participates with a representative, is organized once a year. Learn more about AI Sweden’s governance.
The members of the Steering Group are elected on a personal mandate and thus do not represent their respective organizations.
