In a time of significant societal challenges, the AI Sweden podcast is launching a new series titled Vi kan bättre (Eng: We can do better) led by journalist Karin Hübinette. The interview series will focus on democracy, social development, and proactive leadership, featuring some of Sweden's most prominent leaders.

Starting on September 17, the eight-week series will explore how we can tackle the major issues of our time. The podcast is part of the Future of Democracy initiative, which brings together leaders and decision-makers to discuss how Sweden can modernize with the help of new technology while preserving its democratic values.

The first episode features a conversation between Ann Lagercrantz, CEO of SVT, and hotel entrepreneur and real estate developer Petter Stordalen. The discussion covers the power of media, fake news, social fitness, AI, and human competence. The following week, the conversations will continue with the diplomat Jan Eliasson and celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson.
The AI Sweden Podcast is aimed at leaders who want to understand how artificial intelligence can be applied within organizations. The podcast is normally hosted by Peter Kurzwelly and Anders Thoresson from AI Sweden.
The Vi kan bättre series is a unique guest collaboration that focuses on a broader perspective of societal development. Karin Hübinette moderates the discussions, and the series is produced by Katarina Sahlin.
Future of Democracy was initiated by AI Sweden and Medier & Demokrati. The initiative aims to bring together leaders and decision-makers from different sectors of society to collectively address the issue of how Sweden can be modernized with the help of new technology while safeguarding democratic values.
