AI Sweden continues to boost AI expertise among business leaders. By supporting a new training program developed by Boards Impact Forum, AI Sweden will provide board members with the tools to become active leaders and generate real value from artificial intelligence.
One major bottleneck in AI adoption is the lack of proficiency among board directors regarding how artificial intelligence can create value. AI Sweden has previously contributed to the training of Swedish boards in collaboration with deb. (Diverse Executive Boards) as well as other initiatives.
Now, AI Sweden will contribute to the training program Board Oversight of Responsible AI for Value Creation. Through a combination of online studies and an in-person meeting in Stockholm on January 28, board members will receive tools to take an active role in development for sustainable value creation using AI. The program is built on the research and book “AI Leadership for Corporate Boards” published recently by Springer, as well as experience from many years of practical board work.

Every board we meet has varying levels of understanding of AI. Education creates the common foundation needed for well-informed oversight. It aligns the board, builds collective competence, and enables board members to steer AI with confidence instead of fear or guesswork.
