AI Sweden offices in Luleå, Skellefteå and Sundsvall are now up and running
Over 80 people joined us for the digital launch of three new AI Sweden offices on Wednesday! The expansion to northern Sweden is done in collaboration with Luleå Science Park, Skellefteå Science City and Bron Innovation, with the goal to accelerate the use of AI across the country. The event was moderated by Aurore Belfrage, who introduced speakers from across the region.
- AI is an enabler for increased competitiveness, more resources to societal functions and an increased quality of life for everyone living in Sweden. Given the strong tradition of the heavy industry that has built Sweden historically, a well-developed ecosystem for startups, and an understanding of how innovation is best driven in partnership between business, academia and the public sector, it is very exciting that AI Sweden is now present also in northern Sweden. This will aid us in accelerating the use of AI for the good of all of Sweden, says Patrik Isaksson, Ecosystem and Node Manager in northern Sweden AI Sweden.
Moreover, Luleå University of Technology and Mid Sweden University join AI Sweden as partners, further contributing to AI Sweden's goal of accelerating the use of AI throughout the country.
- We are very happy that we are now represented also in this large and incredibly important part of Sweden. AI Sweden has close to 100 partners around the country and strengthening our operations with offices and more partners in northern Sweden is a very positive step in our development, says Martin Svensson, Co-Director AI Sweden.
AI Sweden was founded in 2019 and has offices in Gothenburg, Stockholm, Lund and Örebro and Linköping. The three new offices are located in Luleå, Skellefteå, and Sundsvall.
