Administrative Lead Data Factory

We are looking for an energetic and curious individual with a good understanding of administrative methods, systems, and how they can be developed and implemented.

About the position

This position is intended to design and run the administrative systems and routines that are needed to ensure that the Data Factory continues to develop and deliver value to all stakeholders of AI Sweden.

We are looking for an energetic and curious individual with a good understanding of administrative methods, systems, and how they can be developed and implemented.

Therefore, we expect applicants to show strong administrative, social and communications skills, as well as a commitment to making real difference by enabling our partners to make use of the resources available in the Data Factory. 

The location for the role is Gothenburg.

About AI Sweden

AI Sweden is the national center for applied Artificial Intelligence, supported by the Swedish government and the public and private sectors across the country. Our mission is to increase the use of AI for the benefit of our society, our competitiveness, and for everyone living in Sweden.

A key element of AI Sweden is the Data Factory – which rapidly is evolving into an international benchmark of national data factories.

Job tasks

Typical tasks will evolve but at least include:

  • Design, develop, implement and maintain administrative systems (processes and tools).

  • Administrative services and management, including

    • General administration for the Data Factory organization

    • Administrating access to resources for partners

    • Support for budgeting and financial control

    • Contract management 

    • Providing information to external partners.

  • Inform/train colleagues and partners in our administrative systems.

Who are you? 

  • Ability to see the big picture.

  • Ability to create systems using existing pieces in combination with visions.

  • Used to developing flexible, “future proof” and effective administrative systems for rapidly changing environments.

  • No assignment too big or too small - small organization mindset

  • Excited to work with administrative, financial, and contractual tasks in the systems we have and create.

  • Communicative, wanting to share knowledge with colleagues and others.

Your Background

  • University education - Master’s degree, probably in public administration, controlling, or similar.

  • Fluent in written and spoken English (advantage if you also know Swedish).

  • Proficient in state-of-the-art administrative tools

  • A few years experience is likely an advantage.
