Theme: Strängnäs municipality's AI journey in the process of reporting concerns for children and young people

Strängnäs municipality has developed the language model ADA: an early version of operational support for the process of reporting concerns for children and young people. The goal is that the social service worker in a new case receives a signal of possible signs of violence and conflict, which the model identifies both in the new and previous cases concerning the same child.

The model's capabilities have been demonstrated, more training is needed, and the issue of the management of sensitive data needs to be resolved. The municipality's journey towards data-driven processes in general and AI specifically is an enabler of welfare and services – the project has highlighted the importance of structured work on the issue. In this seminar, Frédéric Rambaud will present Strängnäs municipality's AI journey.
