Can we use digital tools to combat digital crimes?

-
IVA Konferencenter, Stockholm

Crimes, where digital technology is used, are increasing rapidly according to Interpol. What is required of politicians, authorities and companies to combat the new type of crime? This event together with Digital Forensics Sweden, AI Sweden and the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) explore the opportunities with digital forensics.

Arranged by:
Digital Forensics Sweden
AI Sweden and the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA)

Developments in digital forensics provide completely new tools for investigating, tracking and preventing crime. Our ability to combat various forms of cybercrime is also increasingly important to safeguard our democracy and citizens' trust in the legal system.

  • How do developments in digital forensics increase the possibilities of preventing and combating cyber crimes?
  • How are authorities and industry affected by the new types of crimes that use advanced digital technology?
  • What is required to be able to handle these new types of crimes? What is required of our elected officials? What measures must industry and authorities take to be able to handle the attacks on their own operations?
