Competence Strategy Network

We believe in the power of collaboration, shared learning, and turning strategy into action. The Competence Strategy Network is AI Sweden’s forum for leaders from partner organisations with strategic responsibility for developing AI competence. It brings together industry, public sector, academia, and civil society to secure the skills needed for an AI-driven future.

Network format

The network follows a flipped classroom approach. All sessions take place online. Ahead of each session, you will receive a pre-recorded keynote together with one or more reflection questions to set the scene. Each two-hour session is then fully dedicated to interactive exchange and facilitated discussions.

Discussions are led by AI Sweden representatives together with selected members of our partner network. To keep the dialogue dynamic, we use different tools and formats such as Miro, Mentimeter, and breakout rooms.

Why join the Competence Strategy Network?

The competence gap is one of the biggest barriers to unlocking value with AI. Expectations are rising quickly: technical understanding must be translated into everyday practice. This requires new approaches. Not only education, but also leadership, organisation, and culture. The most successful organisations work long-term, structured, and cross-functionally.

 As a member, you gain:

Strategic, tactical, and hands-on tools to develop AI competence.

Guidance from leading Swedish and international examples.

✓  A neutral arena for testing ideas, sharing cases, and shaping initiatives.

✓  Expert input in interactive formats.

✓  A strategic context to grow in – both as an individual and as an organisation.

Who is it for?

The network is exclusively for AI Sweden partners who:

  • Hold responsibility for AI capability, competence development, or competence supply
  • Want to develop a long-term and strategic approach to competence
  • Want to share experiences, test ideas, and co-create new initiatives

Participants already engaged in this network include representatives from Volvo Group, Volvo Cars, AstraZeneca, Chalmers, WASP-ED, Boliden, Zenseact, Atea, Länsförsäkringar, and Zeekr Technology Europe.

Upcoming meetings

All sessions take place 10:00–12:00 CET.
