A program to drive AI transformation in the public sector. Many AI pilots never reach production, and the challenge often lies in people, processes, and culture—not technology. “Accelerate your AI journey” is a new, structured program designed for public sector organizations that want to take the leap from experimentation to systematic value creation with AI.

The purpose is to equip your organisation with the capability to drive meaningful AI transformation. We shift the focus from technology alone to leadership, people, and new ways of working.
Through a practical, hands-on methodology and by working directly with your own challenges, we create a clear path from insight to tangible value.
The journey progresses through three phases:
- Understand: Current state and strategic direction.
- Learn: Opportunities and solutions.
- Embed: Sustainability and scaling.
The goal is for you to complete the program with ready-to-use deliverables and the tools required to make AI an integrated and sustainable part of your day-to-day operations.
Who it's for
This program is exclusively available to AI Sweden partners.
Designed for public sector organizations working with AI transformation that have already completed initial AI projects or pilots.
Participants typically serve in roles such as change leaders, business developers, digitalization strategists, or other positions responsible for driving the organization’s AI journey.
To create the best possible conditions for long-term impact, participation in groups of at least three individuals from the same department, unit, or function is recommended, ideally bringing complementary areas of expertise.
Content
The approach is based on AI Sweden’s proven method for systematic AI adoption and covers aspects such as:
- AI House: shows how ambition, use cases, and enablers need to develop together
- Maturity Ladder: provides a clear picture of your current state
- AI Opportunity Mapping: identifies and prioritizes your most important AI opportunities
- Responsible Use of AI: and what this can mean in practice
After completion, you will be able to:
Gain knowledge that provides a solid foundation for turning theory into practical action, embedding initiatives within your organization, and creating real impact after completion. The approach is designed to reflect this principle – that change happens through collaboration between different roles, skills, and perspectives.

Session 1: May 19, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM | Kick-off and Introduction
Session 2: June 17, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Session 3: August 19, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Format:
Each phase consists of several modules that combine preparatory work with live digital sessions.
8–9 modules over approximately 16–18 weeks, with 2–4 weeks between each module.
You work on your own real-world challenges and leave with concrete deliverables.
Structure:
Learn alongside participants from other organizations. Knowledge sharing and experience exchange are central to the program.
Please note: Active engagement and time commitment are required to achieve the desired results.
Expertise:
The program is led by AI Sweden’s specialists in the public sector, AI implementation, and change management. Along the way, we are joined by experts in responsible AI and external speakers.
