Technical information about website accessibility
These websites are partially compliant with the Act on Accessibility to Digital Public Services. The shortcomings that make the website not fully compliant are described below.
Content that is not accessible:
The content described below is not fully accessible in one way or another.
- Contrast in visual media: Text placed on top of video or image backgrounds does not always meet the required contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text). In certain lighting conditions within videos or bright areas of images, the text legibility may be compromised for users with visual impairments.
- Missing main landmark: Several pages on the website lack a semantic main landmark (<main>). This prevents screen reader users from using keyboard shortcuts to bypass repetitive navigation elements and jump directly to the primary content of the page.
- Hierarchical structure (Headings): On certain pages, heading levels are not used in a consistent nested order (e.g., skipping from an h1 to an h3 without an intervening h2). This can make it difficult for screen reader users to understand the relationship between different sections of content.
- Embedded video elements: Some decorative elements within YouTube iframes, such as logos and icons, lack appropriate alternative text or ARIA roles. These are currently rendered by the third-party player and may not be fully perceivable by assistive technologies.
- Our PDF documents vary in accessibility: While we ensure all new documents meet the standard, some older archived PDFs lack proper tagging or reading order. If you need a specific document in an accessible format, please contact us at info@ai.se.
- Language in alternative texts: Some images and visual elements may have alternative texts in a language other than the primary language of the page (e.g., Swedish text on the English site). We are actively working on a process to ensure that all visual content is provided with appropriate alternative texts in both Swedish and English moving forward.
Content not covered by the law
There is currently no content on the website that is exempt from the Digital Public Service Accessibility Act.
