AI Innovation of Sweden strengthens the management team with Daniel Gillblad

"I am very excited to step into AI Innovation of Sweden more officially. Now that we are rolling out the initiative nationally, it's important that we gather the experience from all partners and that we work together to gear up the development in Sweden", says Daniel Gillblad.

As Co-Director - Scientific Vision, Daniel Gillblad will, together with Martin Svensson, Co-Director - Operations, drive the development of AI Innovation of Sweden and focus on accelerating AI-based research and development in both the private and public sector.

"We have put a lot of energy into finding the right person and are very happy about the cooperation with RISE - this is another step towards our ambition to establish collaboration structures that strengthen Sweden. With Daniel's experience and deep knowledge in AI research, together with the broad collaboration platform AI Innovation of Sweden is becoming, we are taking a big step in the right direction", says Martin Svensson.

Daniel Gillblad took up the role on 1 September, 2019 and will continue to be based in Stockholm.
